Omne Trium Perfectum is Latin for everything that comes in threes is perfect. Many times in my life change has come in multiples, and I have always figured that if the universe wants you to pay attention to something you will get several chances at it. Recently this principle manifested itself in my life in a strange way when I began to be constantly bombarded by the legendary hip-hop artist Nas. Day one – I received my Twighlight Concert Series tickets in the mail, and was pleasantly surprised to see Nas had been added to the lineup of artists. Day two – Got a new issue of Wax Poetics in the mail with Nas on the cover. DAY three- Discovered a cool new company called 12Society, which Nas is a contributor. By the third day I had no choice but to embrace all things Nas. I marked July 19th on the calendar, started reading my new magazine, and signed up for one month of 12Society. However, most importantly, I started to listen to some Nas’s music that I hadn’t listened to in years. I like Nas's new single Daughters, but I think my favorites still is his classic album Illmatic. I would also recommend 9th Wonders remix of Nas’s album God’s Son, God’s Step Son. Get More: Music News
