Better late then never, or at least that is what I tell myself when I realized that I never blogged about my christmas vacation. So without further adieu, and to the best of my memory this is what I did for Christmas 2012.

I think we all have a running list of places we would like to visit. For me Peru was always passively on that list, but I am not sure it would have ever made the top three. Fortunately for me and Peru, my job offered me a chance to go there during end of November.
My older brother, David, graduated from BYU-Idaho recently, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. School seems to be a never ending saga for a lot of people, and it was great to see my brother finally check college graduate off his list of accomplishments. He graduated in communications with an emphasis in journalism, same as me. Ever since I was young I remember my brother always writing and creating, and I am sure he will continue to do great things in whatever he chooses to do from here.
I recently hit the one year mark at my job. The company I work at is called 4life, and the best way I can describe the company is that they sell health supplements. It is an MLM (multi level marketing) company, which means people sign up to be able to buy and sell the products themselves. Utah is somewhat infamous for this type of company, with one of the larger examples being Nu Skin. For anyone outside of Utah just think Mary Kay or Amway.
Luckily, I work somewhat detached from the business side of things, and instead work for their non-profit charity organization, which is called Foundation 4Life. I do a little bit of everything at work including writing, Spanish translation, online marketing, work with international offices, and help track donations. |
