Last weekend Melanie's parents came into town to watch their youngest daughter, Samantha, Play in her first rugby game. Although she didn't actually get any playing time, it was still fun to spend time with the whole family together. Samantha and her Dad. Melanie's mom forgot her glasses so used the camera instead. We also ran into Meghan, Melanie's old hall adviser from Heritage Halls. Later that day we all went and ate at Texas Roadhouse and then saw a movie in Salt Lake. The movie was called "Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey," it documented the band Joruney and there experiences with finding a replacement lead singer. Eventually they settle on an unlikely singer, Arnel Pineda, from the Philippines. It was pretty amazing to not only hear how much this guy sounded like the real deal, but to hear about his asimilation into the rock star lifestyle. Tried some new food this week. I love chicken and waffles, I love this idea, but for me the flavor in chip form just didn't hold up well. These were a little better, but not by much. I was actually really excited about there new cool ranch tacos, and they were tasty. However, they were really not all that different from a regular taco shell, just had some Doritos flavoring rubbed onto it.
