Just uploaded Thrift Store Mix #3 to my Band Camp page. This mix was made from records that I purchased at the iconic Pike Place Market, in downtown Seattle, WA. I was there for just a couple of hours, but found a small record store to dig through. I bought 7 records while I was there, and sampled a piece of each to make this mix. What I like most about doing these mixes is being able to just experiment and play around with the different samples and sounds these records have to offer. It forces me to sit down and listen to records that otherwise I might never take the time to listen to all the way through. Most of all though it helps clear my head musically. Lately I have been working on different projects making beats for other people, and it is nice to do something for fun that I don't need to worry about making particularly perfect or exceptional, just fun. Give it a listen for yourself or download it for free.
